Learning the Basics of Art!

By using colour wheels and primary colours I am able to see what colours and shades mix well and what do not mix well. Learning this was my first step into actually understanding Art and Design as a subject.

Once I understood the basics I found out there was more to it than just primary and secondary colours. I began to go further learning about complimentary colours and tertiary colours, these I had never heard of before and I found quite interesting.

Then I experimented with the 'none' colours e.g. White and Black. I wanted to mix in with the primary colours to see how many shades takes it would get from the primary colour to get to a none colour.
